About the Doctors
Dr. Warner was born in Williamsport, PA and was raised in Vineland, NJ. He received a B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Philosophy at Villanova University, Villanova, PA. He received a Doctor of Osteopathy from Des Moines University – College of Osteopathic Medicine, Des Moines, Iowa.
While at Des Moines University, he completed an undergraduate teaching fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. He served an Internship and Family Practice Residency at Atlantic City Medical Center, Atlantic City, NJ. In his last year, he was Chief Family Practice Resident. In 1993, he was awarded Atlantic City Medical Center Family Practice Resident of the Year.
Dr. Warner was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Practice and OsteoSciences at the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine (UMDNJ-SOM), Stratford, NJ before moving to Johnstown in 1994.
Dr. Warner is Board Certified in Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Practitioners (ACOFP) [C-FP/OMT]. He is also Board Certified by the American Board of NeuroMusculoskeletal Medicine (AOBNMM) [C-NMM/OMM]. He is a Medical Review Officer (MRO) for drug testing by the American Board of Medical Review Officers.
From 2000 to 2003, Dr. Warner served as Level I Chair of the National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners/Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (NBOME/COMLEX). He is a current board member and test examiner for the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (AOBNMM). He serves the American Academy of Osteopathy (AAO) as a board of governor and chair of the C-NMM committee.
In the summer of 2009, Dr. Warner accepted a role as Clinical Associate Professor of Family Practice & Associate Professor of Osteopathic Principles and Practice, Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) at Seton Hill, PA. Dr. Warner served as course director for the Department of Osteopathic Principles and Practice. LECOM Seton Hill celebrated an inaugerul first year class with 104 D.O. students. Drs. Warner look forward to having these students participate in externship rotations at Warner Family Medicine May 2011 through June 2013.
Dr. Warner is the proud father of two children, Kathleen and Steven, and husband to Margaret. He has served the community as Ebensburg Rotary President (2002-2004) and past Saint Benedict Panther Assistant Soccer Coach.
Margaret K. Warner, DO
Dr. Margaret Warner was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. She received a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Michigan State University, Lansing, Michigan. During her undergraduate education, she worked as a hospital based respiratory therapist technician.
Dr. Warner received a Doctor of Osteopathy from Des Moines University – College of Osteopathic Medicine, Des Moines, Iowa. She served an Internship and Family Practice Residency at Atlantic City Medical Center, Atlantic City, NJ. In 1992, she was Atlantic City Medical Center Family Practice Resident of the year.
Dr. Warner was a member of the Atlantic City Medical Center Family Practice residency program and a practicing physician in Mays Landing, NJ before moving to Johnstown in 1994.
Dr. Warner is Board Certified in Family Practice and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Practitioners (ACOFP) [C-FP/OMT].
Dr. Margaret Warner is the proud mother of two children, Kathleen and Steven, and wife to husband, Michael. She has served the community as a member of the Johnstown Symphony Orchestra Auxiliary and continues to serve as Medical Director for the Altoona-Johnstown Catholic Diocese Camp Zaccheus.
Both Doctors Warner are staff members of Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center and Select Specialty Care Center. Both are members of the American Osteopathic Association and the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association. Both are life members of the American Academy of Osteopathy. Dr. Michael Warner is a member of the Cranial Academy.
